About this Community

PJ Library in NSW and ACT was launched in 2011 by Shalom with the support of the JCA and the Harold Grinspoon Foundation. Shalom is committed to engaging with young families and perceives its commitment to PJ Library as central to its mission to increase the vibrancy of the Jewish community in NSW and ACT by facilitating and supporting a range of programs and events to foster a love of Jewish life and learning. To date, in this region, PJ Library has distributed over 40,000 books and hosted thousands of people at various events.
